Tourlegends Principles

We built tourlegends to make it easy for you to connect with your sporting team mates and friends as well as to help you find opportunities to attend or compete in sports events, leagues, tours and/or tournaments. We understand you may not want to share your personal information on tourlegends with all our registered users and that is why our default privacy settings limit the information displayed in your profile to the members and supporters of clubs you have chosen to join.

You choose what information you put on your profile, including contact and personal information, pictures, sporting interests and clubs you join. You control the users with whom you share your information through the privacy settings on the Account Settings page. We want to provide you with the privacy tools necessary to control how and with whom you share information. If you have questions or ideas, please send them to privacy@tourlegends.com.

Safe Use of Tourlegends

Tourlegends does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for tourlegends or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on tourlegends. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@tourlegends.com.

We recommend that minors between the ages of 13 and 18 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.

Tourlegends' Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect and use the personal information you decide to share, and help you make informed decisions when using tourlegends, located at www.tourlegends.com and its directly associated domains www.tourlegends.net, www.tourlegends.co.uk and www.tourlegends.com.sg. Collectively these sites will be referred to in this Privacy Policy as "tourlegends" or "Website".

By using or accessing tourlegends, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

The Information We CollectTop

Orange Orbit Pte Ltd (collectively, "us", "we" or "the Company") , a company registered in Singapore, is the sole owner of the information collected on tourlegends. The Company collects personally identifiable information (PPI) from our users at several different points on our website. When you visit tourlegends you provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected by us and website use information collected by us as you interact with our website.

When you register with tourlegends, you must first complete the registration form and create a user name and password or choose to use a third party sign-in for identity verification. During registration you are required to give contact information such as name and email address. We use this information to contact you about the services and activities on our site in which you have expressed interest. We also collect demographic information such as location to allow tourlegends to inform you of events (including leagues, tours or tournaments) or of other users near your geographic location. You have the option to provide other personal or preference information to us such as gender and your postal code; we encourage you to submit this information so we can provide you a more personalized experience on our site.

When you access tourlegends, we collect your browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all tourlegends visitors. In addition, we store certain information from your browser using "cookies." A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. By default, we use a persistent cookie that stores your login ID (but not your password) to make it easier for you to login when you come back to tourlegends. You can remove or block this cookie using the settings in your browser if you want to disable this convenience feature.

When you use tourlegends, you may set up your personal profile, form relationships, send messages, perform searches and queries, form clubs, set up events, and transmit information through various channels. We collect this information so that we can provide you the service and offer personalized features. Your profile information, as well as your name, email and photo, are displayed to users belonging to the clubs you joined to enable you to connect with club mates on tourlegends. Profile information is used by tourlegends primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to others permitted to view that information by your privacy settings. In some cases where your privacy settings permit it (e.g., posting on your wall), other tourlegends users may be able to supplement your profile.

We store information that we collect through cookies, log files and pixel tags to create a "profile" of your preferences. We tie your personally identifiable information, and your purchasing history, to information in the profile, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve the content of the site for you.

You post User Content (as defined in the tourlegends Terms of Use on the website at your own risk. Your Club Feed and Wall may aggregate the information you provide and make it available to other users to view and comment on according to your privacy settings. Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content. Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on tourlegends is a violation of the tourlegends Terms of Service and should be reported to privacy@tourlegends.com though we cannot guarantee that we will be able to rectify matters to your entire satisfaction.

Tourlegends may also collect information about you from other sources, such as newspapers, blogs, instant messaging services, and other tourlegends users through the operation of the service (e.g., video tags) in order to provide you with more useful information and a more personalized experience. Where such information is used, we generally allow you to specify in your privacy settings that you do not want this to be done or to take other actions that limit the connection of this information to your profile (e.g., removing video tag links).

If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend's name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email or instant message inviting him or her to visit the site. Tourlegends stores this information to send this one-time invitation, to register your friend's connection to your club, if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our referral program. We will not use this information to contact your friend for any other reason nor do we condone the practice of selling email addresses to the highest bidder. Your friend's details will be stored on the database, so you can view your invitation history. Your friend may contact us at privacy@tourlegends.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

By using tourlegends, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in Singapore.

Communications from tourlegendsTop

When you register with tourlegends, you create your own profile and privacy settings. Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your email address. We will also communicate with you by email in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email as per your default email account provided upon registration. You can change your default email account in your account settings.

We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by tourlegends that we think you may find valuable. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option to opt-in to receive these types of communications when you register on the site. As a registered user you may choose to opt-in or opt-out at any time to receive these types of communications on the account settings page. We cannot be held responsible if you election fails to reach us for reasons beyond our control.

We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications about our products and services, special deals and/or promotions offered by tourlegends that we think you may find valuable. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option to opt-in to receive these types of communications when you register on the site. As a registered user you may choose to opt-in or opt-out at any time to receive these types of communications on the account settings page. We cannot be held responsible if your election fails to reach us for reasons beyond our control.

User profile information you submit to tourlegends, with the exception of your email address, will by default be available to all users of tourlegends. As a registered user you may change your privacy settings on the account settings page. You may choose to hide your profile completely or only make it available to users who belong to the clubs you choose to join. We cannot be held responsible if the change of privacy settings fails properly to respond to your instructions where this is beyond our control.

Your name, screen name, and profile picture thumbnail will be available in search results across the tourlegends network and those limited pieces of information may be made available to third party search engines. This is primarily so your club mates can find you and send you a request to join their club or tour. People who see your name in searches, however, will not be able to access your extended profile information unless such access is allowed based on your privacy settings on the account settings page.

Tourlegends may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service. For instance, if a club member sends you a new message or invites you to tour, you may receive an email alerting you to that fact. Generally, you may opt out of such emails from the account settings page, though tourlegends reserves the right to send you notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.

We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to close your tourlegends account.

Sharing Your Information with Third PartiesTop

Tourlegends shares your personal identifiable information with third parties only in limited circumstances where we believe such sharing is 1) reasonably necessary to offer the service, 2) legally required or, 3) permitted by you. Examples include;

Tourlegends shares your profile information in aggregate form to generate information to display on the site and also with our marketing partners and advertisers. We aggregate user profile information so we can provide information on tourlegends that our users may find interesting such as how many people play a particular sport, how many users are registered in a particular country etc. In addition we share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our marketing partners and advertisers. This information does not identify individual users. We may, if applicable, match our commercial advertisements against some of your preferences because we believe these advertisements are more likely to interest you. For example, if you select rugby as one of your sports, you may be served advertisements about upcoming rugby supporter tours, rugby kit, rugby books etc. but we don't tell the advertiser who you are. Tourlegends marketing partners may provide vouchers or sponsored virtual products to our registered users or to a specific sub-set of our registered users. For example a particular retailer's discount voucher may only be offered and displayed to users in Australia. Demographic information about users that choose to take up these vouchers or display or gift these virtual products will be presented to tourlegends' partners in aggregated format. Under no circumstances will we tell our marketing partners who you are or give out your email address.

As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users' movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information. Your aggregated clickstream data is used for our analysis only and will not be sold to any third party.

When you use tourlegends, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit can be read and collected by other users in accordance with the privacy settings you select. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting comments, messages, photos, videos, or other items, this information may become publicly available and could be used to send you unsolicited messages.

Third Party AdvertisingTop

Advertisements that appear on tourlegends are sometimes delivered (or "served") directly to users by third party advertisers. These third party advertisements may contain cookies or pixel tags set by Internet advertising companies or advertisers (known as "third party cookies"). A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. We set a persistent cookie to store your passwords, so you don't have to enter it more than once. Persistent cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser's "help" file. If you reject cookies, you may still use our website, but your ability to use some areas of our site, such as polls and surveys, will be limited. Tourlegends may allow third party cookies to be present on the website for purposes of advertising, providing services or data and statistics collection. Tourlegends does not control these third party cookies and tourlegends users should check the privacy policy of the Internet advertising company or advertiser to see whether and how it uses cookies. You can program your computer to warn you each time a cookie is being sent, block third party cookies or block all cookies. However, by blocking all cookies you may not have access to certain features on the tourlegends website.

A pixel tag is a tiny image inserted in a webpage and used to record the number and types of views for that page. Using pixel tags allows the advertising network to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement in order to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. Third party advertisers have no access to your contact information stored on tourlegends unless you choose to share it with them.

We employ a third party advertising partner called Aktiv that employs a software technology called helios tags (a.k.a. Web Beacons), that help us better serve advertising content of likely interest to you by serving ads most relevant to your gender, location, age group and/or key words such as the sports you play. Helios tags are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by helios tags to our customers' personally identifiable information.

We also use web beacons in our promotional emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, please change your email notifications in your account settings.

Changing or Removing InformationTop

Access and control over most personal information on tourlegends is readily available through the profile editing tools. Tourlegends users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Individuals who wish to close their tourlegends account may do so on the account settings page. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to registered users of tourlegends.

Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on tourlegends, however, (e.g., posting a message on someone's wall or submitting a post to a forum) you generally cannot remove such communications. Upon account closure the users profile information will be sent to the user via email. Tourlegends will remove personal identifiable information related to closed accounts within 30 days of account closure, unless there are outstanding kitty transactions or unfulfilled orders associated with this user. We can take no responsibility where any actions as aforesaid cannot be achieved because of circumstances beyond our control.

OrdersTop

If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as PayPal email address or credit card number and expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use the contact information to inform you. Save as provided by law, we incur no responsibility for the quality or any goods or services provided.

If you click through from tourlegends to a product or service on a third party site operated by one of the merchants (affiliates) listed on our site, then we track this by sharing your unique user number with our affiliate network. The affiliate network and the merchant do not receive any personal identifiable information about you. We track your click-through for the purpose of allocating cashback rewards to your default kitty when we receive a referral commission for any purchase you may have made. In some cases your unique user number will remain stored and active for up to 30 days in the affiliate network system, subject to the merchant's terms and conditions, so if you make a purchase up to 30 days after you first had a look at the product or service you may still receive cashback rewards. This is not always the case so therefore we recommend you log-in to tourlegends and click-through from the tour shop to the merchant website.

Tourlegends contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Orange Orbit Pte Ltd. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. We take precautions to protect our users' information. Your account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. Because email messaging is not recognized as secure communication, we request that you not send private information to us by email. Your use of tourlegends, and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use and all of its dispute resolution provisions including arbitration, limitation on damages and choice of law. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately, and material changes will take effect within 30 days of their posting on this site. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page.
